Christmas Egg, Cheese and Sausage Casserole

Casserole

  1. Brown, drain & cut up sausage

  2. Layer greased casserole with bread, sausage, & cheese (2 layers fine)

  3. Beat eggs

  4. Add milk, salt & mustard

  5. Blend well and pour over layered ingredients

  6. Cover and refrigerate overnight

  7. Bake covered, for 40-45 min. Uncover, and brown 5-10 min. or until set.

    Mushroom Sauce

  1. Slice and cook mushrooms

  2. Add soup and sherry, heat and serve hot.

We normally make a double batch in a 9x13" pan.

May want to double the sauce
