Honey Garlic Chicken Breasts
  1. Prep the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper.

  2. Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  3. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium-low and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it. Add the honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar (if using). Stir to combine and simmer for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.

  4. Coat the Chicken: Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them. Let the chicken simmer in the sauce for another 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even coating.

  5. Serve: Remove the chicken from the skillet and drizzle any remaining sauce over the top. Garnish with chopped parsley or sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot with your choice of sides.
