  4. Beat the egg for sealing

  5. Combine minced garlic, minced ginger, chopped carrot, chopped Spanish onion, soy sauce, ground pork, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper in a bowl

  6. Mix in the sliced scallion and chopped water chestnuts

  7. Use the beaten egg to seal the lumpia wrappers

  8. Fill and wrap lumpia according to preference (open or closed ends)
