Wash and wipe off the cans of peaches
Preheat oven to 350°F
Dump the canned peaches into an oven-safe baking dish
Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg over the peaches
Make a slurry with ¼ cup of water and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, then pour it over the peaches and mix well
In a separate bowl, mix together 16 ounces of quick oats, ¾ to 1 cup of brown sugar, and a whole stick of melted butter until well combined
Spread the oat mixture evenly over the peaches
Bake uncovered for 30-45 minutes, until the top is browned and crispy
