  1. Cream softened butter and sifted powdered sugar together.

  2. Mix in egg. (It might not homogenize and that's okay.)

  3. Mix in sifted baking soda and flour and salt.

  4. Thinly spread onto parchment paper or a silicone mat.

  5. Bake at 350F for 6-10 minutes depending on your oven and how thin it is. You want a nice golden caramel color.

  6. Let cool, break into small pieces, and store in an airtight container in order to preserve its crunch.
