Caramelly Brown Sugar Toast
Mix together the butter and brown sugar.
Spread half the mixture on one side of the shokupan, then place bread butter-side down in a small nonstick skillet.
Spread the remaining mixture on top of the bread.
Cook over medium heat until browned and crisp on both sides, 3-4 minutes per side, watching carefully and adjusting heat to prevent burning.
Transfer to a wire rack to crisp and cool slightly before serving.
