Oven Baked Bone-in Pork Chops
  1. Let pork chops come to room temperature for 20 minutes.

  2. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 425° F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. Combine all seasoning rub ingredients (brown sugar, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, dried thyme, onion powder, salt and black pepper) in a small bowl. Whisk or stir until well blended.

  4. Rub seasonings over all sides of pork chops and place on the prepared baking sheet.

  5. Cut the butter into 4 thin 'pats' and place one pat of butter on top of each pork chop.

  6. Bake for 18-25 minutes, until an instant read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the pork chops not touching the bone registers 145° F.

  7. Let pork chops rest for 5 minutes and then serve.
