Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and let cool slightly.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk (or cream), salt, and pepper.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking dish.
Add ham and noodles to the egg mixture. Stir well. Pour into the dish and spread evenly.
Sprinkle with breadcrumbs or grated cheese.
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until golden and set.
Cool slightly, then slice and serve.
