  1. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-low heat.

  2. Sprinkle the shredded Parmigiano Reggiano into six small mounds (about 1 tablespoon each) and cook until evenly golden brown, about 5 minutes.

  3. Turn off the heat and let the crisps cool and harden in the pan for about 3 minutes, then transfer to a plate.
