Add water, coconut sugar, cinnamon sticks, ginger, star anise, cloves, and cardamom to a saucepan.
Bring to a boil over low-medium heat.
Let simmer for 5 minutes, stirring every so often.
Turn off the heat and let the pan sit covered for 20 minutes.
Strain and transfer the liquid to a mason jar.
Add four black tea bags and let steep at room temperature.
Once cooled, remove the tea bags and store the concentrate in the fridge for up to 2 weeks!
