Drain canned chickpeas and place in a pot of water, covering chickpeas. Add baking soda, bring to a boil, cook for 10 minutes just until the skin of chickpeas start to crack and fall off.
Drain and rinse with cold water. Drain well.
Add chickpeas to food processor along with garlic cloves, oil, tahini, lemon juice, salt and cumin. Purée until smooth.
Serve with crackers or veggies and enjoy!
