Practical Woman’s Brown Sugar Pork Chops
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a baking dish large enough to hold the pork chops in a single layer.

  2. In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and a small amount of salt until well combined.

  3. Arrange the pork chops in the prepared baking dish.

  4. Spoon the brown sugar mixture evenly over the pork chops, coating the tops generously.

  5. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F.

  6. Halfway through baking, spoon some of the sauce from the bottom of the dish back over the pork chops.

  7. For a more caramelized finish, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end, watching closely to prevent the sugar from burning.

  8. Let the pork chops rest for 3–5 minutes before serving. Spoon the warm brown sugar sauce over the top.
