Gracie's Tuna Pasta Salad
  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions.

  2. Add frozen peas to boiling water with pasta. Depending on the cook time of the pasta, you may want to wait a bit to add the peas so they don't get mushy.

  3. When pasta and peas are cooked, drain water and rinse with cold water to remove the starch. I also rinse my cooking pot with cold water and pour that over the pasta, then return the rinsed pasta to the pot. (Make sure to wipe out the excess water if you do this.)

  4. Add bell pepper, chives, spinach and/or arugula, and tuna to the pasta and peas.

  5. Make the dressing: in a separate, medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, and seasoned salt. Whisk together until homogeneous. Set aside a half cup of dressing in a small container.

  6. Add remaining dressing to pasta mixture and mix until well coated.

  7. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

  8. Since the pasta will absorb some of the dressing in the fridge, add the additional dressing right before serving.
