Tadka for Dhal
  1. Heat ghee in a small pan over medium heat until hot but not smoking

  2. Add cumin and mustard seeds, stir for a minute

  3. Add onion, cook until slightly golden

  4. DO NOT LET THE SPICES BURN!

  5. Immediately pour into dhal and serve!
