Preheat your oven to 400 F.
Peel your butternut squash and slice in half lengthwise, then brush with the olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper before placing in a pan flat-side-down.
Bake for 15 minutes, or until soft enough to cut.
While your butternut squash bakes, prepare your glaze. Combine the vegan butter, maple syrup, Farma-C (or try The Stranger!), and sage leaves in a saucepan, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let simmer for five minutes.
Remove your squash from the oven and slice, to create more surface area for your glaze.
Brush with the glaze, add the sage leaves in a design of your choosing, then return to the oven for 40 to 50 minutes, brushing with more glaze every 10 to 15 minutes.
Add one final coat of glaze upon serving.
