Rinse beans thoroughly, discarding the bad ones.
Soak beans for 10-15 minutes while you prepare the other items.
In the Instant Pot, add the Onion, Garlic, Oregano, Cumin, Oil, Broth and Water.
Strain the beans & discard the water - rinse one last time with clean water and drain well.
Pour the beans into the Instant Pot, stir everything together well.
Press the 'Bean/Chili' button and increase the time to 45 minutes.
After they are done, allow the pressure to naturally release on its own.
Open the lid and let them sit for a little while so they can thicken.
You can leave them whole, mash some so they will be more creamy but still whole beans as well, or you can smash them.
