Oil in medium mixing bowl, use to grease air fryer
add the lemon juice, lemon zest, oregano, salt and pepper to the bowl to make the marinade
Dry the sardines and one by one add to the marinade covering them inside and out. Put the sardine fillets back together and place in air fryer.
Dust the sardines with the flour and then the breadcrumbs
Air fry for 12 to 16 minutes at 204C, 8 minutes in turn the sardines over reapply the marinade and dust with flour and breadcrumbs
