Bring the water and salt to a boil.
Pit the Medjool dates and cut in half lengthwise. Cut into bite sized pieces.
Once boiling, add the chopped dates and oatmeal.
Let cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Once the oatmeal is cooked, transfer to a bowl. Drizzle with pistachio buttee. Add the honey and sweet spice, stir, and enjoy!
