In a pan on medium to medium low heat, melt butter and add olive oil to help butter not burn
Add onion and cabbage, cook down stirring occasionally
Meanwhile, boil water to cook egg noodles according to package instructions
Once cabbage is cooked down, add in garlic
Once garlic is fragrant, add in drained pasta and ½ c pasta water and stir
Add in most of the crumbled bacon, reserving some for topping
Cook for a couple minutes
Plate and sprinkle remaining bacon on top
