In a small bowl, whisk together the bone broth and arrowroot flour until smooth. Set aside.
In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, mix coconut milk, nutritional yeast, basil, and salt. Stir well and bring to a gentle boil.
Reduce heat to low and slowly whisk in the bone broth-arrowroot mixture. Stir continuously for 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
Taste the sauce and adjust salt or basil as needed. For a thicker sauce, remove some liquid, whisk in additional arrowroot flour, and return it to the pan. Serve warm over your favorite AIP-friendly base.
