Roast with a bit oil (0.5 tsp) - coriander, red mirchi
Same pan remove them and roast everything else in remaining oil
Mix and grind all together
Add 1tsp turmeric powder
Preparation - for 2-3 cups rasam
Tomatoes finely chopped - 1 big tomato
Ghee - roast tomato and green chili and a pinch of salt
Sauté nicely
When it becomes lumpy add water 2 cups
Add powder: 0.5 tsp
Boil on low flame
Daal water
Cook toor daal - ¾ cup cooked daal
Mash nicely
Add boiling water - as needed, say 1 cup
Stir: allow it to settle. Decant water collect
Add more water. Collect
Add daal water to tomato thing
Shouldn’t boil over. It should start boiling type.... foam should form
Remove from fire
