Matcha Hot Chocolate With Cacao
  1. Sift matcha into a bowl and whisk together with the hot water. Set aside.

  2. Add ¾ cup milk to a sauce pan/ small pot over medium heat. If you don't have a milk frother add all the milk to the pot.

  3. Bring milk to a simmer. Add chocolate, vanilla and cacao. Whisk together until chocolate is melted and everything is combined. Pour in matcha water mixture and whisk again. This whole process should take about 3 minutes. Remove from the heat.

  4. If you have a frother, add ¼ cup of the milk to the frother and froth on the warm setting.

  5. Add matcha hot chocolate to mug of choice and top with frothed milk. Serve and enjoy.
