Coconut Milk Fish Curry
  1. Add turmeric powder, salt and a little bit of oil to the fish, rub it well and set aside

  2. Make a smooth paste of ginger, garlic and tomatoes

  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry the fish lightly on both sides for about 2 to 3 minutes

  4. Take the fish out

  5. In the same oil add cumin seed and let it crackle

  6. Add the chopped onion and cook until the onion is soft

  7. Add the tomato paste and cook until the raw smell is gone

  8. Add the red chili powder, turmeric, cumin and coriander powder and cook until oil comes out

  9. Add salt and water and bring to a gentle boil

  10. Add the fish and cook for 2 minutes

  11. Add coconut milk and gently mix, cook for another 2 minutes

  12. Finish off with chopped cilantro

  13. Serve hot with rice
