Honey Butter Dinner Rolls
  1. Warm 1 ¾ cup of milk to about 110°F.

  2. Add 6 tbsp melted butter, 1 ½ tsp salt, and 1 egg to the warm milk and mix together.

  3. In a large bowl, combine 5 cups of all-purpose flour, ½ cup sugar, and 2 ¼ tsp instant yeast.

  4. Slowly pour the milk mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until a sticky dough forms.

  5. Knead the dough for 3 minutes until it becomes elastic and no longer sticks to your hands.

  6. Form the dough into a ball, place it in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 45 minutes to 1 hour until doubled in size.

  7. Punch down the dough to release air bubbles, then divide it into 20 equal pieces (about 2.5 oz each).

  8. Shape each piece into a smooth ball and place them on a baking sheet, cover, and let rise for another 30-45 minutes.

  9. Bake the rolls at 350°F for 25 minutes until golden brown.

  10. While the rolls are baking, make the honey butter by beating together 8 tbsp softened butter, 3 tbsp powdered sugar, ¼ cup honey, 1 tsp cinnamon, and ½ tsp salt.

  11. Brush the baked rolls with melted butter and serve warm with the honey butter.
