Apple Pie Rangoons
  1. Combine cream cheese in bowl and beat until smooth. Set in fridge while you make apple pie filling.

  2. In a pan over medium heat, melt your butter. Add in diced apples and cook about 5 minutes. Add in brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and water. Continue cooking until the apples are soft and a sauce forms. Remove from heat and transfer to a bowl and get ready to assemble.

  3. Take a wonton wrapper and add about 1 tsp of the cream cheese, and 1 tsp of the apple pie filling in the center. Wet all 4 sides and fold diagonally. Bring in the two sides. Make sure there are no holes otherwise your filling will spill out. Repeat with all wontons.

  4. Heat vegetable or canola oil on stove until it reaches 350. Drop your wontons in - be careful not to crowd - and fry until golden brown. This will take about 4 mins. Remove from oil and place on paper towel lined plate. Dip in cinnamon sugar and top with powdered sugar. Enjoy immediately!
