Refrigerator Muffins
  1. Pour boiling water over bran and let cool.

  2. Cream sugar and oil with egg. Mixes.

  3. Add eggs, beat well, then flour, salt, soda together and add alternately with flour mixture, cereal, and milk to egg mixture. Blend well.

  4. Add wet bran mixture. Mix only enough to mix well.

  5. Let stand for a few hours.

  6. Bake @ 375-400 for about 20 minutes.

  7. Makes 3 loaf. Mixture will keep up to 3 weeks in refrigerator in covered plastic container or milk carton.

  8. Can be doubled.
