Slice up smoked sausage and dice onion.
Grease crockpot and throw in hash browns, sausage, onion, and cheese.
In a separate bowl, mix together soup, milk, sour cream, minced garlic, and seasonings.
Pour mixture over hash browns and sausage mixture in crockpot.
Sprinkle an additional ½ cup of cheese over soup mixture.
Cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
Serve with salad, roasted veggies, or Texas toast.
