Start by preparing a roux - melt the butter and add the flour. Whisk until combined into a paste and allow the flour to cook off for 1 minute.
Slowly add in the milk while whisking. Continue to wish over medium high eat for 3-5 minutes until the sauce becomes thick.
Next, remove from the heat and add in the velveeta, garlic, salt and pepper. Continue whisking until the velveeta has melted completely and the sauce is smooth.
Serve over broccoli, with tortilla chips, pasta or any of your favorite ways to use cheese sauce!
