Homemade Cough Drops
  1. Squeeze about 2 tablespoons of lemon juice into a saucepan

  2. Add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

  3. Add ½ cup of honey

  4. Grate about 2 tablespoons of ginger through the smallest holes and add it to the pan

  5. Bring the mixture to a boil

  6. Once it starts to bubble, take it off the heat and whisk it around until the bubbles go away

  7. Put the mixture back under heat and repeat the process 4 to 5 times until the mixture darkens and the moisture has evaporated

  8. Line a pan with parchment paper

  9. Use a small spoon to make small drops of the mixture onto the parchment paper

  10. Sprinkle some powdered sugar on top

  11. Let the drops cool off for about 5 minutes
