Vegan Cinnamon Rolls
  1. Mix the flour, salt, and instant yeast.

  2. Heat up the sugar, vegan butter, and plant milk until lukewarm and add to the flour mix.

  3. Add the heaped Tbsp of apple sauce and stir to combine.

  4. Knead the dough until soft and let it rest for 1h.

  5. Make the filling by stirring together the softened vegan butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

  6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface.

  7. Spread half of the filling on the dough, roll it up and cut into 8 rolls.

  8. Spread the other half of the filling in the baking dish and place the rolls in there.

  9. Add some vegan cream in between the rolls (optional) and let them rest for another 30mins.

  10. Bake at 180C/360F for 20-25mins.

  11. Add a simple sugar glaze on top.
