Blackberries & Dumplings
  1. Simmer blackberries with sugar, water, lemon juice, and zest until juicy

  2. Mix dumpling dough until it feels right

  3. Drop spoonfuls of dough into simmering berries

  4. Do not stir, cover and cook for 15 minutes

  5. Uncover and simmer for 5 more minutes

  6. Serve warm with plenty of syrup
