Karachi Beef Biryani
  1. Marinate beef in biryani masala, yogurt, vinegar. Leave to marinate for 3+ hours, overnight is ideal.

  2. Heat the oil in a deep pan over medium heat.

  3. Add the marinated beef, cook for 10 mins.

  4. Add crushed tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, and cook till tender.

  5. Add potatoes and cook till potatoes cook through.

  6. Parboil the basmati rice till al dente.

  7. Layer in an oven safe dish, curry, parboiled rice.

  8. Add food colouring on top (optional)

  9. Cover with foil and steam (dumm) on low for 20-30 mins, till done.

  10. Garnish with coriander, cashews and fried onions.

  11. Enjoy!
