Cook protein macaroni in salted water according to package instructions, drain
Heat olive oil in a pan and fry tofu 5–6 min until golden and crispy
Mix hot sauce, maple syrup, garlic powder, salt & pepper and toss with the tofu
Blend silken tofu, soy milk, cashews, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric, salt & pepper until smooth
Pour cheese sauce into a pan and heat gently for 2–3 min
Add cooked macaroni and toss until creamy and coated
Fold in buffalo tofu
Transfer to a bowl and top with grated vegan cheese
Finish with spring onion and extra hot sauce if desired
