Chicken Jalapeno Bites
  1. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, chili powder, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Divide the mixture evenly between two bowls.

  2. Toss the chicken cubes into one-half of the brown sugar mixture, coating all sides. Set aside.

  3. Place the bacon halves vertically onto a clean work surface. Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture over the tops of the bacon. Then, flip over each bacon piece.

  4. Place one cube of chicken on the end of a bacon piece.

  5. Top each chicken cube with one piece of cream cheese and one jalapeno round.

  6. Wrap the bacon around the chicken, cream cheese, and jalapeno, securing with a toothpick.

  7. Place the bacon-wrapped chicken bites into the basket of your air fryer*, leaving space in between the bites. (Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may have to work in batches.)

  8. Cook at 390°F for 10-12 minutes, flipping throughout, or until the bacon is crispy on all sides and the chicken is cooked through to an internal temperature of 165°F.

  9. Remove the chicken bites from the air fryer. Let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
