Dissolve yeast and 2 tablespoons sugar in ½ cup warm water. Set aside.
Scald 1 cup milk and add ½ cup sugar, ½ cup butter, and 1 tablespoon salt. Blend. Cool to lukewarm.
Add 3 beaten eggs and the yeast mix. Blend.
Add 4-5 cups flour and mix until a soft dough forms.
Let rise in a warm place until doubled.
Divide into 2 parts. Roll each part out on floured surface into a circle and spread with melted butter.
Cut into 16 pie-shaped wedges and roll up from large end of wedge to small end.
Place on greased cookie sheet and let rise until doubled.
Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
