Bourbon, Cardamom, And Ginger Whipped Cream
  1. Combine the heavy cream, cardamom pods, and ginger in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer.

  2. Turn off heat, and allow to steep for 15 minutes at room temperature.

  3. Strain, and transfer to a bowl and place in refrigerator and allow to cool completely, or overnight.

  4. Combine bourbon, sugar, a pinch of kosher salt, and flavored cream, beat until mixture holds soft peaks.
