Sauce:
In a small bowl, combine dry rub ingredients; rub over brisket. Place in a 3-qt. slow cooker. Let it sit for at least an hour. For best results, refrigerate overnight to allow the beef to absorb the spices.
In a large bowl, combine sauce ingredients. Pour half over the brisket; set remaining sauce aside.
Cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for 8 hours, until meat is tender. Serve with reserved sauce.
Slice meat against the grain for tender, melt-in-your-mouth brisket.
