Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
Wash the potatoes thoroughly and prick them with a fork several times.
Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack and bake for about 45 minutes, or until they are tender.
While the potatoes are baking, cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through.
Once the potatoes are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
Cut a slit in each potato and gently squeeze the ends to open them up.
Fill the potatoes with the cooked sausage and serve hot.
