Preheat the oven to 400°F.
In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat until cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in salt, pepper, milk, cheese, and Bisquick mix. Mix well.
Pour the mixture into a greased pie plate.
Bake for about 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Top the pie with chopped tomato, lettuce, and pickles before serving.
