  1. Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch cake pan well.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  3. Add the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until the batter looks uniform and glossy.

  4. While stirring, slowly pour in the boiling water.

  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  6. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

  7. Once fully cooled, top with chocolate ganache and let it set before serving.
