Creamy Slow Cooked Leeks
  1. Preheat your oven to 150°C. Chop the leeks and stand them upright in a dish.

  2. Drizzle the leeks with olive oil, salt and pepper, then roast for 1 hour until soft.

  3. Add the cream, garlic, nutmeg and half the cheese to a pan. Stir on a low heat for 5 minutes then set aside.

  4. When the leeks are soft, cover with the sauce and top with remaining cheese.

  5. Bake for 30 minutes until golden and crisp. Enjoy.
