Put the flour in a mixing bowl.
Add the butter, egg, cream, sugar, and vanilla powder.
Mix until well combined.
Roll out the dough until 0.5 cm thick.
Cut into strips about 10 cm long and 2 cm wide.
Fold each strip into a knot.
Deep-fry at 175°C for approximately 3–5 minutes until golden brown.
Leave to cool on paper towels.
To serve, dust with powdered sugar.
