Cut crescent dough into half inch thick slices (do not unroll!).
Place on a parchment lined sheet pan and press cookies flat.
In a bowl combine cream cheese, vanilla and powdered sugar.
Spoon about a teaspoon full onto each cookie and spread evenly.
Top with jam.
Bake at 375° for eight minutes.
Cool for one minute.
Remove from pan and cool completely before enjoying!
