Vegan Shawarma Rice With Garlic Yoghurt
  1. In a pot, heat vegan butter and fry the onion and garlic for 3 min. Add the basmati and spices and fry everything for 3 min until hot. Add the water and bring to a boil. Close the lid, lower the temperature and simmer for 20 min on low heat.

  2. Mix the mushrooms with the remaining ingredients in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.

  3. Heat 2-3 tbsp oil in a frying pan and fry your mushrooms until lightly browned. Put them on a plate and cut them into strips.

  4. Mix all the ingredients for the dressing and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Serve everything with fresh lettuce.
