Dinner Rolls
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let sit 2-3 minutes.

  2. Add melted butter, salt, sugar, egg, and flour. Mix until combined, then knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  3. Place dough in a greased bowl, turn once to coat, cover, and let rise until doubled-about 40 minutes.

  4. Punch down dough and divide into rolls about 50-55 grams weight. Place on a greased baking sheet.

  5. Cover and let rise again for 30-45 minutes, or until doubled.

  6. Bake at 350°F for 22-25 minutes, or until golden brown.

  7. Brush with butter if desired (always a yes) and enjoy warm!
