Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Cut pastry into four squares.
Place a spoonful or two of cranberry sauce in the middle of the pastry square. Top with a bit of sugar if your cranberry sauce is not very sweet.
Top cranberry sauce with a tablespoon of shredded cheese.
Fold pastry over to form a triangle and seal edges with a fork.
Brush pastry top with beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake until golden and cooked through. (About 20 minutes.) Enjoy!
