Mexican Rice
  1. Heat a saucepan over medium-high heat.

  2. Add 1 cup of dry rice and toast for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Add 3 cups of water and stir.

  4. Add 5 tablespoons of tomato sauce and 1 tablespoon of "nor poo" seasoning, and stir to combine.

  5. Cover the pan and cook for 10 minutes on high heat without opening the lid.

  6. Turn off the heat and leave the pan on the stove, still covered, for 5 minutes.

  7. Remove the pan from the heat and let it sit, covered, for 10 more minutes without opening the lid.
