Preheat oven at 425 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment. (You could also use the air fryer).
Mix ingredients - I used my mixer with the kneading attachment but you can mix by hand (will be a little sticky)
Roll into balls and poke a hole in the center (someone suggested rolling a little piece of foil into a ball and putting it in the center of the bagel to help keep the shape - so I'm going to try that next time!)
Beat the egg and use a pastry brush to wash some on each bagel. Top with seasoning, toppings (like cheese and herbs) or leave plain.
Bake for 25 mins or until golden brown like this ⬆️
Let cool about 20 mins.
