Add boneless, skinless chicken thighs to the crockpot in one layer.
Empty bottle BBQ sauce directly on chicken thighs, making sure they are totally covered. I use a sweet BBQ sauce to bring out more of the sweet flavor in this barbecue chicken dish but any BBQ sauce flavor will work.
Without draining any juice, dump a can of pineapple tidbits directly into the pot over the chicken.
Slow cook 6 hours on low or 2-3 hours on high for soft pull apart fork tender chicken.
