In the gallon size resealable bag add water, yeast, salt, sugar or honey, oil and flour, mix well.
Put the sealed bag in lukewarm water for 30 minutes.
After add ¼ cup flour and mix well.
Let rise for 1 hour. I placed it into the oven with just the oven light on to help it rise.
Shape into a braid
Sprinkle with garlic salt and Everything Bagel Seasoning for a savory treat or cinnamon sugar for a sweet treat.
Bake at 300° for 45-50 minutes
Mix together powdered sugar, milk or half & half, salt and vanilla.
Drizzle over the bread when it is done cooking.
